Goulien
The power of the wind
Ours was the first community in Brittany to set up a
windfarm with 8 wind turbines, and we invite you come and
learn about the power of wind in all its forms – from music
to technology to poetry and science – at the ‘Maison du
Vent’. This building is located in the heart of our little
town, just a short walk from Saint-Goulven church (with its
16th century entrance porch, recently restored).
Goulien is lucky enough to have many natural riches,
including pleasant countryside and a nature reserve that
includes many unusual and protected species of birds.
