The
Chapel of
Lanbabu
The Chapel of Lanbabu is a 16th century monument,
with the precise date of 1553 engraved above the door of the
sacristy (or vestry). The original building was gradually
enlarged. A deep well of some ten metres or more sits next
to the chapel although the chapel’s fountain is found
roughly 100 metres south, just by the main road. This same
fountain was said to cure abcesses and boils!
