 Beuzec Cap Sizun
 Land of seaspray

Whether you are looking for a change of scene of seeking a true taste of France, Beuzec-Cap-Sizun welcomes you into its land of contrasts. Here you’ll find seaside landscapes that change with the rhythms of the wind and a green countryside dotted with true heritage treasures.

Take the offical walking route of the GR 34 along the coast and you’ll discover coastal cliffs, creeks and sandy beaches as well as pebbled shores. Beuzec-Cap-Sizun invites you to explore the rich countryside at your own pace using our walking circuits. You can follow these to the ancient remains of ‘gallery tombs’ at Kerbalannec, the water mill of Kériolet, the lighthouse at the Pointe du Millier and the chapels at Sanspez and Lescogan.

The team at the tourist office in Beuzec-Cap-Sizun offers a full programme of activities throughout the year – sandcastle competitions, workshops on making traditional crêpes, music concerts and Breton dancing, and most famously the ‘Fête des Bruyères’ (on the 2nd Sunday in August). This is a folk festival featuring traditional costume, local folk music and a parade that recreates a Breton wedding with a long procession of horse-drawn floats.

Be sure to visit:
The coastal points of ‘Millier’ and ‘Kastel Koz’
The beaches of Pors Péron and Lesven
The water mill at Kériolet
The gallery tomb and standing stones of Kerbalannec
The 17th century St Budoc church
